Review titled Child blood pressure
Rated 1 star out of 5
by CarlyT - Posted on 20 January 2024
I was told late last night that I need to get my daughter blood pressure done before Monday. As it's a weekend I went to chemist. My daughter is 10 and just started new adhd medication and experiencing bad side effects so Camhs said go chemist get blood pressure checked. Took my daughter in and they said they will charge £15 to check her blood pressure only over 40s are free. As we couldn't afford it couldn't get it done. Absolutely disgraceful.

Thank you for your review and for highlighting this information. We understand your frustation but the NHS specification for the blood pressure service is only aimed at adults. We were able to provide this service for patients who do not fit the criteria, privately, at the same cost of which the NHS pays us for the hypertension service. We will alert CAMHS that they should be only referring patients to the doctor for a blood pressure check. I have attached the specification for your information. https://www.england.nhs.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/PRN00173-adv-service-spec-nhs-community-pharmacy-hypertension-case-finding-advanced-service-v2.3.pdf Kind regards Sefgrove Chemist

Pharmacist and all the team were courteous and efficient as I collected my mother’s prescription. I also returned the next day to purchase medication for my husband’s viral illness and all the team were excellent.

Sorry to hear that we have not met your expectations but it was around lunchtime when you called and the pharmacist had answered the phone to let you know that a prescription had arrived with other medication from a previous day. The shop was already filled with customers waiting and the staff member went to serve you. We are more than happy to assist you and discuss further if you would like to. Regards The Sefgrove Team

Review titled Professional, caring and efficient
Rated 5 stars out of 5

This is a lovely pharmacy. The family that runs it have been serving the community for years. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. There's a great range of products. And the 'flu jab I had there today was the least painful jab I've ever had - seriously didn't feel it! The pharmacists go out of their way to try and help me get what I've asked for when things have been hard to obtain, trying different suppliers etc. Exactly what the community needs! We are lucky to have them.

Review titled Chaotic pharmacy where you can't get things done
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 24 October 2022
My repeat prescription for a common inexpensive medicine was lost on a number of occasions due to what appears to be total chaos in filing and processing orders. Twice it was fulfilled after I had to make a brand new request but last time - after waiting for 40 minutes for the prescription to be found in all kinds of boxes and drawers, I was told they had decided not to fulfil it because the drug is too expensive to order. This is simply not true plus they had a full week to let me know but never bothered. I was left without any pills and finally took my business elsewhere. Only frustration here, plus how can one trust the accuracy of this pharmacy service. Mistakes are waiting to happen.
