    In my personal experience staff and procedures and the quality of service have dramatically changed for the worse since Shaunaks was sold to a new company. I have had good service for over 15 years, but recently the queues are much much longer and prescription items are harder to obtain. Shaunaks are currently holding my medication and enforcing that I *must* wait 7 days to obtain my items. They seemed to take great delight in telling me that I cannot obtain my life-saving medication..! Shocking and disgraceful customer service. There must be some sort of plan to deliberately run the service down and force customers elsewhere. I have no idea why they would do that but I can't think of any other reason for it. I'm looking for a new pharmacy in any case.

    I had my sore throat looked at by a Shaunaks pharmacist on September 3rd and he was patient, kind and professional. I also waited for a prescription that day. Yes, I have experienced there are long waits sometimes but that is the NHS now and what I have noticed is the calm, efficient atmosphere even though the queue is often very long. That said, the queue is always steadily moving. All the staff I have observed are invariably polite and helpful.. They also keep you informed of progress if you are waiting for a prescription. I have never yet seen a grumpy staff member at Shaunaks. Thank you !

    As others have said, this pharmacy has become intolerable since the staff changes. There are consistent long queues to get served and equally long queues of people waiting for prescription items to be collected by the very slow, laid back and unapproachable staff! On my recent visit, I waited 35 minutes only to be told my item wasn't in stock but would be by 5.00pm. I returned the following day, waited 50 minutes this time only to be told the same, not in stock but due in at 5.00pm! No apology and a real "tuff luck" attitude! I have now moved to another pharmacy. Awful, just awful.

    until a few months ago this pharmacy was wonderful. It was run very slickly and at least one staff member knew my information and would just go and look for my medicines without further prompting. If you needed anything extra they would order it and it would arrive promptly, there was rarely any queues. This has changed. It looks like some of the staff have changed including the pharmacist/manager. they appear to have new uniforms. There is now a huge queue every time you go in with fewer staff manning the counter. They do find your medication but it alll seems far less efficient. dread to see how they manage Covid/flu jabs will vote with my feet and switch to Pharmacy2U. Very sad, loved the old set up

    Since the new takeover, I've had nothing but problems with ordering and collecting prescriptions. Today I've been on hold twice for over an hour to be hung up on when I get to number 1 in the queue! I was told this morning when I finally got through, that my prescription was ready to collect, after being without for 5 days and going into withdrawal. My son walked to the store to collect and when he came back I realised the medication I needed most urgently was missing. I contacted the surgery, and they replied straight away confirming my medication is waiting at the pharmacy ready to collect, so I've just tried calling again and was in the queue for another hour, to get to number one and be hung up on again, for the 2nd time today. This isn't the first time I've had trouble like this since the takeover, and I have finally reached my limit. I've never been so frustrated and annoyed in my life. Once I finally get hold of my medication owed to me ( I can't reorder as it won't allow me to as it's showing as issued today) I will be taking my services elsewhere. It's such a shame, before the takeover, this place ran like clockwork, and you could order meds and collect within 2 days. The new staff are rude, have no passion for their jobs, and have no clue how to operate a pharmacy. It's an absolute shambles, I know many who agree with me.

    Visited Shaunaks Pharmacy Westbury today. Noticed the Staff were all new. No clear information that there were Staffing Changes although a little card about Training. I also had to visit Cheese and Grain Frome for a Covid Booster. Is Service provision changing at Shaunaks Westbury and what gas happened to the original Staff Thety are /were superb My Orescription today took longer than any ever before abd have to come vack as one medication is not in stock. I am a former qualified Health Care Manager abd was surprised at the numbers of oeople having to come back later and neds werent acailable until 1700. I was told to ring the Pharmacy in 2 days time to see if my meds were in. Phoning the Pharmacy like the Surgery is good in theory but not in practice as you can hang around gor a long time. Wiltshire Pod have not got an excellent phone system (well ysed to ring back) but that changed recently. If the Pharmacy Personnel ir Services.or prescribing Policis fir any meds Policies change Patients should be informed. I have left Sgaunaks with a view that the Service/ Medication issue Policies have had cgsnges. I was hoping to go away this weekend after having vad side effects to Covid Spring Booster Moderna. I would ge grateful if you coukd update me on Shaunaks Westbury as they werent coping well and whether Wiltshire BHS have sent out new Prescribing Instructions to Pharmacies without telling Patients. The knock on effect of slow delicery will be earlier prescription ordering times. If Sgaunajs now can't deliver I will move to Boots. Last Year I gave a pboc of Chocolates to the Staff at Xmas. The atmosohere has changed at the Pharmacy maybe because if Wiltshire NHS Policy/ Staffing changes
