I have been using this pharmacy for years for my repeat prescriptions. Recently I have been quite unwell & in a lot of pain & lots of different GPs have been trying to get my meds right for pain management. Every GP I have seen has prescribed me meds & told me to pick them up from the pharmacy on the same day. It has never been a problem & the staff have been great & explained that I’d have to wait 10mins or so. Today a lady at the pharmacy had a terrible attitude with me about picking meds up on the same day even though I told her the GP had told me to. I haven’t seen this member of staff before & was shocked at the mini lecture I had just by me giving my name & saying I am here for a prescription. I explained I was just doing what the doctor told me but her attitude was terrible. I really hope the other staff sort that out as it was loud enough for them to hear & also people in the GP surgery. I have never had a problem waiting for my meds, no matter how long, I didn’t say anything to her to warrant her belittling behaviour. Very disappointed & I went away upset as I’m going through a tough time at the moment. I really hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Just to add, someone else came for their prescription while I was waiting for mine & they had only been prescribed it on the same day too. A different member of staff dealt with them & nothing was said to them about it being on the same day.

Today I went to collect my repeat prescription and they had printed out a 2 page A4 size information sheet on the medication I am currently using but because of a manufacturing problem they couldn’t get it and I have an allergy to a particular ingredient that alternative manufacturers use and they took it on them selves to search out what exactly it was in them and which I could and couldn’t use, it turned out if I would have used a alternative manufacturer I would have had an allergic reaction, I would like to thank who ever was involved in getting me the information and a remedy to the problem

Very efficient, friendly and helpful staff. Pharmacist was very knowledgeable and went out of their way to advise me. I travel here by choice, rather than using my closest pharmacy.
