I came to Singer Pharmacy for my covid booster in autumn 2024 and was extremely anxious as I’d just had a trip to A&E with tachycardia while titrating stimulant medication for ADHD. The member of staff who did my vaccination was so incredibly understanding and reassuring, explaining the risk that something would go wrong if I had the vaccination that day was very minimal, and giving me the time and space I needed to make a decision. After their reassurance I went ahead with the vaccination and was allowed to wait in the pharmacy for 30 minutes afterwards and checked on again before I left, even though I wasn’t at risk of an adverse reaction. I really appreciate this staff member’s kindness and professionalism that day. Sometime when visiting a pharmacy I’ve been treated like an inconvenience and rushed through decisions and treatments when I’ve needed time and a slow and calm explanation of what I need to know. Not here. I’m grateful to have this caring pharmacy close by.
