I phoned 12 times today and not once was the phone picked up!!! You go in and they’re all literally just stood around!!! Fuming. Get it sorted!!my prescription for ADHD medication was delivered at 10am this morning and I’ve not been informed until I tracked where it was!!! It’s now 17.45pm.

  3. Review titled Awful, awful, awful

Rated 1 star out of 5

When you go in they ask you your name, they then go off into the back and a few minutes later come back and ask you your name. Then they start saying the prescription isn't there even though it's been sent. Then someone else comes out and looks and surprise surprise they find my prescription. I see so many frustrated customers whenever I go here. It's an extreamly rare thing in my opinion when someone goes in and comes out satisfied. There is always something wrong. The amount of times I have been given out of date or short dated medication is unreal. They give you a 28 days supply of medication that won't last the 28 days due to being out of date. I go back and they change it but that's only because I am checking. What about those that aren't checking? Very poor practice not only by the fulfilling staff who get the medication but also the pharmacist who clearly isn't checking the dates.

  4. Review titled Why Is The Pharmacy Not Open At Times Stated?

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 16 April 2023

I am waiting to pick up a prescription which was sent to Sorrel Bank via 111, when I went to the Pharmacy to pick up the prescription it was closed. I tried ring on numerous occasions during supposed opening times and no one answered the phone. The antibiotic prescription is now stuck there with no idea when I can collect it. People needing antibiotics should not have to wait 3 days.

  5. Review titled Appalling Treatment.

Rated 1 star out of 5

I visited the chemist at 6:00pm and requested my medication, they already had my prescription, at 6:20pm I was asked again what did I require. 6:30pm I left expecting when I returned at 8:00pm all would be ready. I returned, waited 10 minutes, nothing! I departed and returned at 8:30pm. Again absolutely nothing for me. I requested a printed prescription, things started to get a bit heated, all should be on camera, so I could go elsewhere for my tablets. The pharmacist, replied good and don't come back. I asked the individual if they were the pharmacist, the reply was yes, the board indicated a different gender for whom was on duty. If they were as stated they have questionable ethics and etiquette, if not a legal issue is at hand. 10 more minutes and still no progress. I explicitly said I would return tomorrow for the prescription. When I returned the following day the medication was ready but no prescription! I informed the pharmacist I wished to go elsewhere. This individual was a first class professional and sorted me out in minutes. I was greatful for that. The individual on the first day clearly was incapable of fulfilling his role and hell bent on winding someone up!

  6. Review titled Poor service, poor duty of care

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 24 March 2023

Rings out whenever you need them urgently or non urgently. Phone always rings out then they pick up and put the phone down on you. Receptionists can never be bothered to answer the phone, blatantly ignore it. Disgusting for the line of work it is.

  7. Review titled Made to feel extremely vulnerable

Rated 1 star out of 5

Had my complete address announced to the whole of the pharmacy. After asking to confirm my address when there were 2 other people in the pharmacy less than 1 meter from myself and certainly could hear. I gave my street name and the pharmacist deveined to tell everyone else my house number. My medication was for mental health and this has now made me feel more bunerable with my conditions

  8. Review titled Not respecting patient confidentiality

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 22 December 2022

I asked to purchase some Nytol (over the counter sleep aid tablets) which this pharmacy had on sale. I was asked some intense questions about my mental health and personal circumstances in a shop full of people. This made me feel extremely embarrassed and like I was some sort of drug addict. If the pharmacy aren’t comfortable selling these over the counter medications then they should take them off the shelf. This was a huge breach of patient confidentiality. I was then asked if I had made lifestyle changes, I did not go into the pharmacy for a lecture about my lifestyle choices, just to buy an over the counter product which they have on sale. I found this question very derogatory as was the pharmacists tone and manner. It is terrible practice to ask personal questions in a public space and I urge you to speak to your staff and provide further training so that other customers don’t have to go through this ordeal. As I am currently experiencing some difficulties in my life that are affecting my sleep this visit to the pharmacy has just made me feel a great deal worse!

Dear patient Thank you for taking the time to leave feed back regarding our branch at Sorrel Bank. Pharmacy medications have to be sold, legally, under the supervision of Pharmacist. Our highly-trained Pharmacist will only have had your best interests in mind when asking questions about your health. Sometimes this advice can include suggestions about lifestyle changes which maybe clinically more appropriate than medication. All our branches have a consultation room if you feel you would prefer the discussion to be in private. AIM RX Ltd
