Review titled Can be good but mostly bad
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 08 February 2024
I'm agreeing with the other review. A lot of the time I'll have prescriptions sent over which I don't need on the day. But sometimes, like my most recent, I've needed it as soon as possible. I'm told rather rudely "you'll have to wait or come back when you get a text." This is frustrating when I have already waited for the afternoon and have arrived after 5pm. They will have queues lining up because they made the decision to not open on the weekends, and public holidays exacerbate this issue. They're obviously very pressured. I think there's a point when they just need to accept the site isn't big enough or they're understaffed and need more people (and days to be open). Their plans to install some sort of vending machine have been ongoing for a long time now. I doubt it will happen. You can tell on their faces most visits they're going with the motions. They can be nice but usually you have to be the friendly one first for them to respond in kind. If not, they will appear almost hostile or unbothered.

Review titled Rude staff
Rated 2 stars out of 5

I've used this pharmacy for many years now, my review is based on numerous visits. Staff are rude, interrupt you and lay blame with customers. Many occasions I have had emergency medicine prescribed by the Dr, who has informed me that it will be ready later that day. On arrival much later in the day, often my prescription has not even been opened despite it being written early in the morning. I am usually greeted abruptly mid sentence 'name!?', followed by 'did you receive your text!?'. When attempting to explain that the Dr said to collect around a certain time, I get interrupted by 'well it doesn't work like that, the Dr doesn't know '. When they find my prescription, realising that it is required (having only just opened it) I am told 'well you will have to wait! '. While I am usually quite understanding about stressful situations, this treatment is all too common here. Either the staff are overwhelmed and on edge or need some more training.
