My latest visit, just two days ago, was, like all my previous visits to Stevens Pharmacy, so pleasurable. All the staff are so pleasant and helpful, as is the pharmacist in charge. They always go above and beyond to help the customer, in a polite and friendly manner. Also, the facilities offered by the pharmacy, including flu jabs and Covid jabs are amazing and timely.

We had our Covid vaccinations at this Pharmacy. It was very well organised , prompt and the Nurse was excellent polite and professional . The surroundings were spotlessly clean . Reception was also very good. We will come back for our next booster. Thank you.

This would have been a well trained and experienced dispenser (not a nurse) and so very pleased you found the service was excellent. I needed to have a cholesterol blood test done for my own piece of mind I’ve been to this pharmacy a few times and always been helpful. So I asked if they can do them, funny enough the day after they were starting to do blood tests so I got booked in 1st appointment 2pm another nurse did the bloods whilst overseen. The bloods got sent off that day and the results were returned that evening by email so very quick. And for me good news which was even better. Could not ask for a better service pharmacist phoned me the next day to confirm the results. All very good service from start to finish. Just to note this was a paid blood test not on the NHS but that’s my personal preference. Thanks again for your excellent service. Denise walker

This used to be a fantastic chemist years ago. Used it for the 1st time in ages, but the wait to get the pharmacist to check the prescription was horrendous, Almost an hour for an item they had in stock (I called to check before going there), they did not advise me there was going to be a wait or to attend after a certain time, which would have made more sense. Apparently they were running a covid clinic .... sorry I thought this was a community pharmacy, where you got your prescriptions filled ... surely get another pharmacist in to check prescriptions or do the jabs, don't try and do both, as it does not work.

Dear Valued Customer, Thank you very much for your visit to the pharmacy after a long while. I am sorry to read that you felt the wait for your item was longer than met your expectations and understood this was due to the covid clinic. Community Pharmacies, are an invaluable part of the NHS Primary Care Team and so offer a comprehensive range of pharmaceutical services including the dispensing of medicines. As in any service based environment, especially in the Community Pharmacy where we have a walk-in policy, this is subject to fluctuations in the demand put on the teams irrespective of the clinics such as covid which runs independently to the business as usual. Fortunately, the clinic has run successfully and approaching its 3rd year of operation with only praise for how it has been run and your feedback to the contrary is noted. We value all our customers irrespective of what service they visit for and will like the efficiency and speed of service which we strive to offer safely to be your experience when you visit us again. Very rarely, unplanned changes have been managed with the intent to cause the least disruption to all our customers and as the covid clinic for spring boosters ended quite some time ago, it is difficult to ascertain how this may have affected your visit. The NHS is working hard with Community Pharmacies to continue to bring services to patients and improve access to healthcare to local communities who are finding difficult to access healthcare in other areas and your feedback, as any received about patient experience will always be used to inform service provision. Your feedback will also be shared with the hardworking team to ensure in future communication is effective and our customers are kept appropriately informed. We will like to encourage you to visit us again soon if you need any Pharmacy services so we can show you want we are achieving in the pharmacy for those patients who regularly visit us.
