Been to collect medication three times, still don't have it, poor customer service from the staff, first time only able to give 9 tablets out of 56, gave owe slip told to go back on Wednesday to collect rest, gone on Wednesday to find they didn't even order it (what was said by the lady) and had to return on Saturday, attended on Saturday to find it's now out of stock from their supplier and told us to go back to GP or out of hours, found another Tesco pharmacy with the tablets needed however martlesham pharmacy refused to release the prescription as they would lose the NHS cost of the 9/56 tablets, even although their other large store was the one with the correct tablets and said that all the pharmacy needed to do was release the prescription so we could receive the medication needed but the pharmacy has only thought about the cost rather than the wellbeing of the patient. Pharmacies shouldn't be ran as a business, they should be about providing care, the medication in question is for mental health and on a very strong dose therefore going without it is a definite no no, been waiting for a call back from 111 for out of hours to get a new prescription, however this could have been avoided twice, firstly when attending the return they could have explained that they have had supply issues and to contact GP surgery for alternative tablet/capsules (which today was clear it's been an issue for a while) and they could have released the prescription for us to attend their other store who had the stock. However they have put their ego and money above the welfare of the patients. I'm glad I don't regularly use this pharmacy and in the future I will be avoiding at all costs. They shouldn't be operating for NHS. As they do not stand close anywhere near to what the NHS stands for. Extremely disappointed with Tesco pharmacy
