For the last 18 months my repeat prescriptions have always gone to Lloyd’s pharmacy inside sainsburys which has now closed, so I had to find a new pharmacy. Going from Lloyd’s where staff were amazing, helpful and approachable. I have come to Tesco where staff are very closed off surrounded by plastic screens, don’t communicate and come across as they don’t want to be there. I went yesterday to collect my repeat medications and also a second prescription for an acute medication. They had my repeats but then denied my GP had sent through a second prescription. After I showed them evidence from ask my gp that a prescription had been sent, they had a proper look and found it. I had to queue twice as they were rude initially and blamed my gp for not putting prescription through. I understand the plastic screens are there from COVID to protect staff but I work for the NHS and in hospitals the plastic screens have disappeared now so not sure why Tesco pharmacy is sealed in around plastic screens
