First time using Tesco hemsworth pharmacy , never again , assistant dark hair , glasses ,very rude , walked away from me when I talked to her had a very poor attitude, I get they’re busy but absolutely no customer service skills , also told me it would be a week before I could have items, just basic things , nothing extravagant, avoid , terrible . Change to a different pharmacy

Went in to collect my prescription which had been sent two weeks earlier and it wasn’t ready. I pointed out this was a joke that a diabetic could not have their medication. The staff then proceeded to make all the excuses under the sun and belittle me between themselves because I’d dared show my annoyance. Never again, service so slow, rude staff who think it’s acceptable for you to have to wait so long for medication that you obviously need to survive.

Unfortunately, I ordered my prescription eight days ago and It was not ready for collection. Had to wait 30 minutes for it to be made up when they had it for eight days. Nat at all satisfaction. Also a lot of disgruntled customers fed up with the slow service. An air of hostility by the customers and servers and chemist bordering on being rude. Thinking of switching pharmacies as this one is run very badly.

I arrived at Tescos in store pharmacy Hemsworth today to collect my prescription that had been sent by doctors, which was some antibiotics. I spent 15 minutes queuing and there was only 2 people in front of me. When i finally got to the front, she told me my prescription would be 5 minutes, so i joined the others that were also waiting for their medication. After 20 minutes of waiting, one of the members of staff told me that the pharmacist isn’t in yet and i will need to wait another 10 minutes. At this point I was not impressed as there were no other customers there. Eventually i got my prescription after 45 minutes of waiting for one lot of antibiotics! During my terrible experience, there was one young girl serving the customers whilst other members of staff were chatting at the back, ignoring the customers, which i believe was very rude. The pharmacy phone was ringing constantly, yet wasn’t answered once. Also the customers around me were also becoming more and more annoyed because instead of serving at times, all members of staff were chatting at the back about their personal lives, which i believe is terrible customer service. I was extremely appalled by this service and i will be moving pharmacies due to this happening on more than one occasion.

I have medication owing from 25 March which the pharmacist said they had ordered for me. My wife ordered same medication after me which she has today received I am told mine is still on ordered. Why dies the pharmacy not fulfill old prescriptions before newer ones. This happens regularly and I have been left without medication on a number of occasions now
