After a 20 minute wait, I was finally served but refused the sale of over the counter nose drops. I was asked about current medication, which I was reluctant to disclose in front of a queue of people with no privacy. The lady serving me told me she would not sell them to me unless I disclosed what regular medication I take and I ended up reluctantly telling her. She then went to check something in the back and came back warning me that there may be increased risks. As I had also disclosed that have used the nose drops in previous occasions, she then insisted I tell her when I used them last. As it was only recently, she then refused the sale stating that her license would not allow it. These nose drops and other over the counter medications are normally available to but off the shelf in supermarkets. Unfortunately the selection of over the counter medication available in store at Tesco’s Thirsk is shockingly basic and leave you with no other choice but to buy from their in store pharmacy. After this upsetting and humiliating experience, this is definitely the first and very last time I will ever use Tesco’s pharmacy in Thirsk again.

Booked flu jab for Thursday 10/11/2022. Received confirmation e mail at time of booking, received reminder about appointment on 9/11/2022. Arrived for appointment, was told not possible to give flu jab. Reason—- They don’t do flu jabs on Thursdays, it is the girls day off. It is not possible for me to book for that day. When I produced the email, was told. Must be problem with system. I was not really given an apology just told come back tomorrow.. No thought given to the time I had wasted. Not helpful about who do I complain too.
