My mum went to this pharmacy as she had a minor illness and thought it best to go to a pharmacy for advice rather than book a GP appointment. She asked the pharmacist do they do care of the chemist there who rudely replied yes but not today we are too busy. And didn’t enquire what was the problem or advice where else she could go. My mum receives free prescription as she has a medical exemption and had to just pay for the cream she thought she needed. The pharmacist was so unhelpful and did not provide my mum with care which totally contradicts all the adverts the nhs are putting out about visiting a pharmacist .

Pharmacist working on her own. Sign on counter saying nothing would be dispensed apart from antibiotics unless already dispensed. 5.45pm, tesco open until 8pm, Saturday before Easter Sun and bank holiday Monday. Ordered prescription on Wed via app and gets sent directly to Tesco. Was told the GP had only sent it on Saturday even though they were closed and were on Good Friday and that she was too busy to dispense it! No pain relief until Tue! 3 days! She printed the prescription and told me to go somewhere else, said Boots was open. Got there and it closed at 6pm! Had to go miles away to a chemist open late. Couldn’t get there any earlier as work 12 hour shifts. There is regularly a note on the counter saying nothing will be dispensed as short staffed, how is this allowed. If there’s a pharmacist there, which they’re was they have a duty of care to dispense your medication unless exceptional circumstances. Would have taken 2 mins to print label and grab 2 packets of my tablets. Took longer telling me she wasn’t dispensing and printing the referral to another chemist! Not acceptable for a big store.

I work in Tesco (night shifts), and I had an appointment today at 11.25 for a flu jab. Literally one minute before the appointment I received a call informing me that for a glitch in the system all the appointment of the day were cancelled. Obviously I was already there, after my usual night shift and 3 hours of sleep, just for the appointment. They have no respect, not even for other colleagues.
