Asked for cocodomol which the doctor recommended, waiting at the counter for 5 mins before being served colleague was doing nothing. Refused what I was asked for even though I explained the doctor said it was fine. Was made to feel like I was some kind of addict The colleague needs more training especially with customer service. I went to my local phamacy after with no problems. Should of gone their in the first place but I was doing my weekly shop.

  2. Review titled Cannot believe they call themselves a pharmacy

Rated 1 star out of 5

I thought I would try this Pharmacy for a medication even though normally they have nothing in. Surprise surprise, after asking me for the name twice, and me having to explain what it is used for and that it can be bought over the counter or by prescription they decided they only have prescription meds available. Hopefully one day this pharmacy will taken over by a real pharmaceutical company and not just a play days one. Might even be able to train the staff that work there too.

  3. Review titled Absolutely disgusting service

The staff are nothing but bullies. They question and question you making you feel like you're a drug addiction even after showing them my prescription and not having time to order well actually I forgot to order my codeine as my mum is on end of life and very poorly it slipped my mind. I asked for a box of co codamol and apparently I was abusive and I wasn't he refused to sell me them. I couldn't hear properly what they were saying as there was a screen. But no I started crying and having a severe panic attack to where both pharmacists started laughing at me. I have a diagnosed mental health condition and shame on them. The assistant manager of tesco helped me out who was so lovely but the staff want sacking. I so hope to god they never have to go through such bad times as I am at the moment but then again I do and maybe they may show some sympathy. Disgraceful and reporting to care quality commisioner and other bodies.

  4. Review titled Terrible service by bullying staff

Rated 1 star out of 5

Made to feel like an addict, questioned and questioned and asked very personal questions which are non of their business. The staff are very very rude and unprofessional. This is the second time this has occurred to me and the first time I complained to Tesco Head office and the pharmacy manager called me to apologise and agreed that the service received was unacceptable and retraining g was required, this was back in August so either no training took place or was not effective either way the staff at Tesco clay cross pharmacy are getting no better. I complained to the Tesco store manager today who stated that they had received a few complaints today about the staff in the pharmacy. I was following doctors instructions to purchase co codamol over the counter to help my husband post operative recovery who are they to question a surgeon and a doctor. Come on tesco get this sorted as it is not acceptable at all and I am not the only person to complain.

  5. Review titled Unhelpful and unkind

Rated 1 star out of 5

I had run out of blood thinners and after checking 111 website I was directed to the pharmacy at Clay Cross 6 mies away. The pharmacist wa rude and unhelpful. At first he said come back in half an hour and he would see what he could do,when I asked him what that meant, he said make it an hour, I am busy. As a 66 year old, social worker for over 43 years who always tried to help others, feeling scared 3 hours after my medication was due, alone in store on a Saturday night, I felt upset and the pharmacist was so unkind and clearly wanted to exert his power and simply shrugged when I said my medication was essential. I understand that people in the health sector are stretched but a bit of caring and kindness goes a long way especially when you are unwell. In direct contrast, the pharmacist at the Chesterfield Tesco pharmacy was professional, kind and helped me ensuring I had the emergency medication I needed. Pehaps the bad attitude of the Clay Cross pharmacist on duty at 8pm on 2nd October could be addressed with further training?
