I am not a patient but escorted my mother to an appointment yesterday. Whilst waiting for her script we were both really touched and heartened by how the young man and young lady in the Pharmacy, and GP reception staff, treated a lady who had obvious addiction problems. They were kind, courteous and caring, and treated her like the human being she is. Sadly, we don't see enough of this, the staff are truly a credit to the Pharmacy and Surgery, and it was a real tonic to mum and me to witness such goodness. Thank you, and well done!

Review titled Ring and prescriptions are ready, arrive and they're not

The review is only about collecting prescriptions. Prescriptions usually not ready for collection, so have to wait 30 mins or so. Ring prior to collecting, they say it is ready. Arrive, and they have the prescription but you still then have to wait for it to be done, just the same as if you don't ring. When a person rings, don't say it is ready when it is not. Say, we have it here and we will do it when you arrive. There will be approx. 30 mins wait as we don't have them ready prior to arrival. That would be more relevant and would at least give someone a chance to pay for longer parking. I parked up outside Blunts for a 30 mins free parking. I went back to ask how long it would be as I would need to move the car. It then sped things up and I was able to leave in a hot flap (with prescription) and dash to the car before warden came along. I don't begrudge that you're busy, it is that we know this always happens and that's why we first phone to ensure it is ready. You say it is, but it's the same as not bothering phoning. It is not ready. The experience is roughly all the time so the date of the review is irrelevant. I ,or my parent for whom I collected, have the same regular experience.

Do not answer phone. Spent hrs trying to get through. Didn’t deliver meds and had to chase on behalf of relative who is elderly - as previously said can’t get through. Made the person who the meds were for ill as she was worried because had taken last ones. This has happened before and on one occasion rang up to complain and there was no apology so I put it in writing and never received a reply. I noticed that they have never commented on any review on this site either. Says it all!!

Called 18 times 3 days pirer to this and was told I would be marked as urgent. I do not drive as I have sever epilepsy and I need my tablets, I've been left a few times with important tablets undelivered. Would not recommend church street to anyone who really needs tablets delivered or help

Very unhappy with this pharmacy. Regular order of medication not delivered at usual time leaving my sister with no medication for today. Rang to ask why not delivered & told it would come today, even though she ran out yesterday. Two phone calls later, still waiting for medication to arrive. No apologies or explanation given as to why medication was not delivered last week.

Very rude and unhelpful staff, and no one answers the phone, I have called 8 times today and each time get on hold for 15 mins before getting cut off, no one even answers. Popped into the pharmacy yo tell them, and they were not the slightest bit interested.
