On half a dozen occasions I've been to the Grove pharmacy to collect a repeat prescription only to be told that they can't issue it to me as the pharmacist is running late"due to traffic". If this happens as routinely as it appears to, might I suggest the pharmacist leaves home earlier, in order to arrive on time, rather than disrupting the working days of your patients. I've now registered elsewhere and would not recommend.

Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our Grove Pharmacy. My name is Kris and I'm the Operations Manager for Medicine Clinic Ltd - Owners of The Grove Pharmacy. Naturally i was disappointed to read the review details and offer our sincere apologies. Unfortunately due to traffic accident on Tuesday 16th (which i believe is the main date you may be referring to) our Pharmacist was unable to reach the Pharmacy at 9am. This is something completely out of our hands unfortunately, but of course my sincere apologies for the late arrival as this has led to a disruption on your working day. Have moved pharmacy and doctors due to appalling service and rude staff on a number of occasions. The doctors even think it is ok to move your appointment to another location without telling you, and then despite arriving in advance of the appointment time and checking in, leave it until 10 minutes after the appointment time to tell you they moved your appointment to another surgery and ‘you should have had a phone call’. If I had received a phone call, I would have gone to the other location, but didn’t, so obviously went to the normal surgery. Absolutely appalling - one child out of school and me missing work for absolutely no reason other than their absolutely rubbish admin team. The pharmacy also regularly do not have the medication that my son needs, despite it being on a monthly repeat! Why offer monthly repeat service if you cannot meet it??? I have now moved surgery to the Stour Surgery, who are far nicer and more organised. I do not recommend the Grove Surgery.

The location is easy to find and with good parking. Disabled access was good and the staff and volunteers were all extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent and organised service in a clean and well ventilated area.

What a pleasure it is to get my Prescriptions now,it has certainly been turned around for the better from the last few years,so much quicker now to collect my prescriptions and now my prescriptions are ready and waiting for me to pickup instead of waiting for them to be made up while i waited up to half an hour before,great friendly staff,well done.

The pharmacy has improved so much recently, they went searching for somewhere that had my medication that I needed desperately. I know there is a shortage of this medication, so I am very grateful. Exceptional customer service.

I went to collect my medication and had some questions about some of the new medication I have been put on. They were able to answer all my questions in an easy to understand way and in a discreet and professional manor. There was a slight wait to get my medication but this is totally understandable considering the hundreds, if not thousands of prescriptions they have to prepare and there is usually only one or two pharmacists who have to check every single one of them before they can go out. Not to mention all the other things they do. I thank them all for their hard work and diligence. Fiendly and polite.

The service provided by the Grove is shockingly bad. They continually never have prescriptions in, never answer the phone, advice is very limited and they never stock anything that is required. This morning they told my wife who is expecting in 2 weeks that the prescription required urgently for our child will not be available by them for 3-5 days. They then told her to walk around and find somewhere. How they have been allowed to operate a pharmacy is beyond me and from all the other reviews it seems we are not the only ones to be treated in such a poor manner.
