I went to this pharmacy for my fifth Covid injection and was very disappointed with the level of hygiene exhibited by the young lady who did my injection. I was surprised that she did not wear nitrile gloves or that she did not wash or apply hand gel to her hands at any point. In a semi medical situation these items are absolutely essential. I assume that the nhs issue guidelines to participating pharmacies and carry out checks to make sure these are strictly adhered to.

I came today with my elderly and frail mum to have her Covid vaccination. I booked in advance for a certain day and certain time. When we arrived, we were told that they will not vaccinate her because they would have to open a new vial of vaccines and, as they close at 1pm on Wednesdays, the rest would have to be wasted. Whilst I understand the reasoning, I don't understand why it wasn't possible to calculate that my mum will be declined whilst they booked each person for a certain time so they knew the number of people to be vaccinated on that day.

On duty pharmacist was extremely helpful, understanding and professional. Understood my problem and suggested sensible course of action to resolve it.

The staff are useless and unprofessional. More than once they've held a prescription for days without preparing it, failed to order medication they didn't have in stock and failed to put a prescription back into the national system so we can access it at another pharmacy. My 2 year old is left without their prescription due to the lack of concern and/or incompetence.
