Today I experienced something I have never come across and feel it needs to be addressed. I arrived at the pharmacy this morning 8.45am at ware cross to collect my prescription from a few days ago and was told they cannot give the prescriptions out until til the pharmacist is in the shop. Seems this is an ongoing issue from listening to customers and the staff are not so happy either. The pharmacist, Whom was sitting in his car outside and would not come in till 9am as they are his hours? There was a shop full of people who wanted to get to work and were told they had to wait. One gentleman even went to ask the pharmacist in his car and he said whilst looking at the internet I don’t start till 9am. Why in earth does the shop open at 8.00am-8.30am which I feel is great due to people having to get to work but cannot collect their prescriptions? Rather strange if you ask me. Either the pharmacist needs to be at work or the shop should not open till 9am as it is wasting peoples time when they cannot get the service they require. I left as I would be late for work and returned after work at 3.15pm to be asked did I not already collect my prescription as they couldn’t find it. I then waited 15 mins till it was ready. Such hard work, so un organised and unprofessional. I’m definitely changing my pharmacy, it’s not like I use them a lot but when I do there’s always something that’s an issue.
