Review titled Atrocious service - will be moving my prescription elsewhere

Really unhelpful pharmacy with very rude staff. They changed a prescription without consultation with me the patient and when I queried it I was met with ‘it is the same thing’ well no it isn’t the same thing at all. I am a prescribing nurse so I am aware of the difference and object to being talked to in this way by a shop assistant. They also only provided 3 months of the medicine not 6 and did not tell me or the GP that and I ran out before realising this . Their work practices are very outdated and they do not seem to be able to organise themselves which creates long unnecessary waits for everyone and don’t get me started about them not being able to stagger breaks so there is always someone available and the shop isn’t closed for a long period in the middle of the day.

I attempted to collect my asthma medication on thursday to be told we dont have any ventolin inhalers in stock call back friday they will be here called on friday medication not available someone had forgotten to order it a conversation was had in the back ground and it was clear the inhalers had not been ordered till friday afternoon i eventualy collected my inhalers saturday morning not good enough i was left without medication for 2 days i do not understand why ventolin is not available i have a repeat script every 3 weeks same items more often than not they only have 1 and owe 1 but not on this ocassion i will not use this chemist again

Went in to collect my Daughter prescription and was only given the one when there was another bag full. In the autumn they did not complete my soms prescription and won't do anything about the missing 21 tablets

I tried to call the chemist 60 times in one afternoon an no one answered the telephone!! I understand they may be busy but to not answer all afternoon is terrible service ! - I tried from 2pm to 4pm and still no answer ! It’s as bad as trying to get through to the doctors surgery! Absolutely terrible

Tried calling numerous times today regarding a query about husbands Epilepsy medication. Refusing to answer phone after calling at least 7 times. Very unprofessional and not sure if suitable to carry on practicing. Recently taken over and entire service is horrendous! Need reporting.
