It tuck the 18 days two photos emailed so she I was exempt.three phone calls. Total of about 1 hours 10 minutes on the phone. To get the drugs my local pharmacy would have delivered in two days. Not good at all.

  2. Review titled Dreadful Service.

Three times I was informed that the prescription items I had ordered on 29/08/22 were not recived intot he pharmacy and there "must be a problem with my GP's surgery"! (this occured over a three day period) This, despite recieving a text message on the 2nd September informing me the prescription was ready for collection. Once the items were found on their shelves, I didn't recieve an apology, and if anything I was made to feel as if I was an inconvenience. Clearly there are staff training issues or perhaps system issues, but whatever the reason, they ought to accept that producing a properly ordered prescription is the phamacies responsibility and the onus should not be on the customer to prove an order is indeed present.

  3. Review titled Used to be a wonderful pharmacy now it's the pits.

I received a text to say that my repeat prescription was complete and ready for collection - apart from one item which would not be in stock until the following day. This is not uncommon as the Well Pharmacy always seems to be out of stock of something, so there is normally a wait. However, the following day my wife collected the entire prescription on my behalf, including the delayed item, only for me to discover that there had been a failure to dispense 168 tablets of one particular medication (presumably not an absolutely vital blood pressure reducer as I only have to take 3 of the tablets each day.) Phoning the Well Pharmacy was of course an utter waste of time as they conformed to their usual practice of not bothering to answer the telephone, so I had to return to the pharmacy to get the missing item. However, the pharmacist was arrogant and dismissive: apparently the failure to dispense a repeat prescription must have been the fault of a doctor at my medical practice, despite the pharmacy having enclosed a repeat medication slip which clearly showed the missing item when they supplied the ostensibly complete prescription. I therefore had to go back to the doctor's surgery to obtain a fresh prescription but when I did so and returned to the pharmacy I discovered that they had closed - 33 minutes before their advertised closing time. Apparently this was because they were 'short-staffed': so short-staffed in fact that none of the three members of staff still at the pharmacy at that time (33 minutes before their official finishing time remember) were able to dispense the prescription. One of those members of staff was the obnoxious pharmacist who clearly has no regard for the welfare of her customers. I have used this pharmacy regularly for nearly forty years and originally it was the kind of caring establishment where the pharmacist was the owner and the staff were friendly and helpful. Subsequent pharmacists continued that approach through various changes of ownership until the Well brand took charge and the business began to epitomise poor service and a lack of respect culminating in the episode detailed here.Naturally I shall no longer patronise Well Pharmacy, as any other pharmacy would perforce be friendlier and more efficient, and I would caution anyone against using such a poor practice. It will be interesting to see if the Well Pharmacy Customer Services condone such shoddy customer treatment as being typical of their company policy.
