    While I understand the pressure that Healthcare Professionals are under professionally during the current difficult climate in the health service, reluctantly, I feel I must voice my disappointment with the service I have received in recent times. Once I receive a text to say that my prescription is ready,I expect the medications to be ready when I turn up to pick them up. Unfortunately, that is never the case.Not only have I got to wait for them , but the members of staff are either unsure of the items I require or the medication are not available. One needs to realise that ,firstly there is the inconvience of two or three trips to the pharmacy ,secondly the cost of petrol this incur and thirdly,there is a penalty if I park my car beyond the allocated 30 mins limit. I would appreciate if I receive a text once all my medications are ready and available - which would prevent the frustration of waiting and the harassment of staff dealing with my prescription. I am sorry to say that the quality of service has declined tremendously in recent times up to the point that the chore of picking up my prescription has become an activity which I look forward to with unwarranted dread and apprehension. My observation and suggestion is that there is a need for a better organised, better managed and better trained members of staff in order to improve an otherwise poor service.
