About
Newbiggin-by -the-Sea SureStart works with pregnant mothers, children up to the age of 4 years, and their families/carers, living within the Newbiggin-by-the-Sea SureStart Area. We have been guaranteed funding by the government up to April 2008.
In October 2002 Marjorie, our Co-ordinator and Allison and Julie, our two Community Project Workers came into post and the development of the SureStart programme began (see What's On below). In 2003 our Administrator Alison Brown joined the team and Julian Wales joined in 2006.
