Age UK Surrey is an independent local charity. We work for all people over the age of 50 offering a wide range of services to help them make the most of life.
Age UK Surrey is also a brand partner of Age UK and a member of the Age England Association.
Age UK Surrey aims to see a county where older people live a fulfilled, enjoyable and dignified life, free from isolation, poverty, abuse and discrimination.

Our Services across Surrey: Information and Advice on a wide range of issues including free benefits checks, independent care advice and finding a care home, housing options, safety in the home, equipment including home adaptations and where to get a stair lift. Help at Home to help you stay independent in your home for longer. Our friendly and reliable Home Helps and Gardeners will undertake a wide range of tasks including housework, laundry, gardening, shopping, light meal preparation and companionship at an affordable cost. Check in and Chat - Telephone Befriending – A volunteer will telephone on a regular basis at a mutually convenient time for a friendly chat.Virtual Coffee Mornings supported by the Surrey Virtual Wellbeing Hub – Join Catherine, Age UK Surrey’s Information and Advice Manager, for a sociable and friendly chat over virtual coffee. Get to know others or ask Catherine any questions about issues affecting older people. Every Monday and Thursday 2-3pm. To book email enquiries@ageuksurrey.org.uk Digital Online Help – our friendly and experienced team of volunteers are offering a free telephone service to help you learn and improve your skills. Learn how to do an online shop or access a virtual show, art collection or concert. We also give computer, tablet and mobile phone advice. G050 Walks – A great way to improve overall health and fitness whilst giving a chance to meet new people and make new friends. Full programme restarts in July 2021. Our Services and Activities in GuildfordShopmobility located on level 3, Bedford Road Car Park, has a selection of manual and powered wheelchairs and scooters available. You do not have to be registered disabled and free parking is available whilst using the service. All hires must be pre-booked and there is a charge for the service.
