About

Ask Us Nottinghamshire (formerly the Parent Partnership Service) provide a free, confidential Information, Advice and Support Service, to give impartial advice, information and support across education, health and social care issues to parents and carers of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) living in Nottingham city or Nottinghamshire.  Children and young people with SEND can also use the service.

You do not need to have a medical diagnosis of your child’s needs in order to take advantage of our service, but on your first contact with us you will be asked to describe how your child’s SEND impact on their education as this will help us to know how best we can support you.  You just need to provide us, in your own words, with a picture of how your child’s needs affect their life at home, in school and in the community.
