About
Batias empowers adults with disabilities towards independence through advocacy. Batias helps clients to make informed choices, to speak out and get their wishes heard.

Batias has a number of projects such as the Zero 5 club in South Ockendon which is a social group for adults with disabilities cost is £3 per session. Club4U in Basildon is a social and activities group for adults with disabilities based in The Beech Hub, in the Beechwood estate. Cost is £3.50 per session, once a month the group goes out in the community for activities such as bowling, a meal in a restaurant or a day trip these activities are individually priced. Health Coaching is a new service which offers support to adults with learning disabilities and / or Autism who would like support with their health appointments or information about how to improve their health and wellbeing. This service is free and referrals can be made by phone on 01375 389869 or email on batias.grays@batias.com AB4D is a service providing adults with disabilities and their families / carers the opportunity to have a voice in their local community, discuss issues which are important to them, and work together to find solutions. Issues can then be highlighted to Essex County Council.
