About

Established in 1996, Body and Soul is the leading UK organisation that supports children, young people and families living with or closely affected by HIV.

We provide a safe and supportive environment for children, teenagers and adults living with, or closely affected by HIV, where they are able to reduce isolation and stress, improve health and well-being, resume active lives, share experiences and build vital support networks.

Opening times

Body & Soul runs weekly age-appropriate support services on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons (registered members only) and casework appointments throughout the week.

Fully wheelchair accessible. Hearing loop in main workshop room.

Target group

Children, teenagers, families and adults living with or closely affected by HIV. Services are available for those who are closely affected by HIV through a parent, sibling or family member as well as those who are HIV positive themselves.

Other services offered :•OFSTED registered children's centre.•Professional legal and immigration clinic•Private treatment rooms for 1:1 complementary therapies and counselling, life-coaching and professional mentoing•Sensory room, play therapy room and art therapy rooms•Assistance and reimbursement can be provided for transport to and from Body & •Soul after a transport assessment•Dinner is provided for free during service evenings for members of all ages

Referral method

Self referral is welcomed as are referrals through professionals in the health, social services and voluntary sectors. Registrations of new members can only be carried out on an appointment basis. Please call Body & Soul to arrange an appointment to register.
