Service details
Broadway Lodge is a compassionate and supportive abstinence-based residential rehabilitation centre in North Somerset that has been returning lives addiction has taken away since 1974.
Our experienced team of medical clinicians, counsellors, therapists and support staff have helped to transform the lives of thousands of people, supporting them in their recovery from addiction to alcohol, illicit and prescription drugs, gambling, sex and gaming.
We provide medically-managed detoxification for people with an addiction to alcohol, opiates, benzodiazepines and prescribed medication. If you detox with us, you will be allocated an en-suite room in our on-site medical unit which is staffed 24/7 by our specialist nurses who will monitor you and ensure you’re as comfortable as possible throughout.
As a client, once your detox is completed (if required), you can immerse yourself into our comprehensive therapeutic programme. This is where you will explore your attitudes and behaviours with counsellors and your peers and address the root cause of your addiction so that you can leave with healthy coping mechanisms and tools for a long-term recovery. During your time with us you will also improve your emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing as well as self-worth.
We can support people who have a dual diagnosis where another condition co-exists alongside their addiction such as anxiety, depression or a mild eating disorder.
Please contact us in confidence if you would like further information or to ask any questions and we’ll be happy to help. We’re open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.

Accepts referrals from all over the UK
Referral method
We accept referrals from clients who are able to pay privately for treatment as well as referrals from those who are funded by their local authority. If you are being funded for treatment by a substance misuse team for example, your Key Worker or Care Manager will be responsible for sending your referral to us and they will keep you updated with the progress.
If you are paying for treatment yourself, please contact us to request a treatment application form. Once this is completed and returned, your application will be processed and we will endeavour to arrange an admission date as soon as possible or for when you would like to start treatment with us (subject to assessment).
