What We Do:

Carers Bucks supports the health and wellbeing of unpaid carers and supports unpaid carers of all ages and in different caring roles. These caring roles include young carers, young adult carers, parents of children with a physical or learning disability, older carers, carers from the black and minority ethnic community and those looking after someone with a mental health condition.

Carers Bucks also provides a number of services for the benefit of unpaid carers in Buckinghamshire, including a Caring for Older Carers (75+) service, young carers support, young adult carers support and hospital work to provide support for unpaid carers and the person they care for whilst in Stoke Mandeville, Amersham, Wycombe General and Wexham hospitals.

All our services are free to carers.

All carers contacting Carers Bucks are able to speak to an experienced Support Worker in confidence, either over the telephone or by visiting our offices (please ring us first to make an appointment).

What We Provide:

· Up-to-date information and advice on carers' issues

· Help with knowing carers' rights and entitlements

· Guidance on health and social issues

· Help to create an emergency plan

· Support Group Workshops and Information Programme

· An opportunity to meet other carers

· A listening ear and someone to talk to in confidence

· Bi-annual 'Carers News' newsletter

Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm Friday 9am - 4.30pm
