Further information

We support people and their carers in the local and surrounding areas of Pinhoe and Broadclyst who are frail, elderly, isolated or have dementia/Alzheimer's etc.  Our purpose built day centre is open three days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and runs from 10am - 3pm. Its aim is to enable people to continue to live an independent life at home for as long as they wish to do so and to give support to carers. There are several skilled members of staff on duty and each client is encouraged to participate in structured and planned activities. An individual plan of care is devised for each client and lunch and drinks are provided.  Our transport service helps people get to and from their surgery appointment or other local medical appointments and also helps to transport some of our clients to our day centre. Passengers are asked to contribute towards the cost of their journeys.  A referral is needed for both the day centre and transport services. Please phone 01392 46490 for further enquiries. Our weekly Coffee Morning is held on a Monday from 10 - 11.15am at the Heart of Oak in Pinhoe and also on the second Saturday in the month at the United Reform Church in Pinhoe. This is a very friendly and successful group and all are welcome to call by and join in.
