About

The Conquest Centre for Disabled Riders is a registered charity and a non-profit making organisation. Disabled children and adults are often excluded from sporting activities either because they are physically unable to take part or because they feel too disadvantaged to compete against able-bodied people. The lack of exercise and physical stimulation has debilitating effects on their health. We provide disabled people of all ages and abilities with the opportunity for regular horse riding - giving a sense of achievement and independence.

We have instructors trained by British Horse Society, Riding for the Disabled Association and Horse Boy Method. We offer group and private riding sessions, carriage driving, sensory sessions, back riding and stable management for disabled clients. We also offer able-bodied riding activities including Pony Club.

We are lucky enough to have an indoor arena equipped with specialised mounting equipment, a waiting room and disabled toilet. We also have an outdoor arena and a short outdoor orchard ride.
