Home Based Respite CareThis is when a carer support worker comes to your home and takes the place of the carer for an agreed time to give the carer a break. Whilst the carer is away the support worker can assist with any personal care needs, support to mobilise, preparation of food and assistance to eat and drink, and support with medication.Email: coventry@crossroadscw.org.ukTel: 024 7625 8816Overnight ServicesThis is when a care support worker comes to you home and stays overnight usually 10pm to 7am (but this can be negotiated) and provides whatever personal care support is needed. The person with care needs is supported to access community activities of their choice which enhances their quality of life and well being. Crossroads has established an Arts & Craft and Music & Dance activity in a central location in Coventry in partnership with Coventry Church Charities which is available for service users to attend.Email: coventry@crossroadscw.org.ukTel: 024 7625 8816Domestic ServiceThis is a service to support those people who, for whatever reason, find carrying out essential domestic tasks difficult. We provide an hourly based service on request. Crossroads also provides specialist services to people recovering from a stroke, to people with dementia and a palliative care service. The purpose is to provide carers with peace of mind in the case of an emergency when, for whatever reason, they are unable to continue in their caring role.
