About

deafPLUS is a charity working to encourage intergration and equality between deaf and hearing people in all areas of life.

Carers support is provided in the Birmingham area for those who need extra support while caring for their friends or loved ones that have hearing loss or vice versa. Home visits and outreach service's are available. The service is free of charge.

Opening times

9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

Access

We do our best to cater for all disabilities. We currently have a flashing lights smoke alarm, minicom, ground floor toilets and a ramp at the entrance of the building.

Catchment area

Birmingham Wide

Target group

Deaf people. Hard of Hearing people (HOH) Deafened people. Deaf and HOH people who are Deaf and Blind. Deaf and HOH people who are from ethnic minority groups i.e. Black, Asian, non-British European etc. and their carers.

Referral method

Self referral, or other organisations can refer.
