About

Disability Support is a registered charity and has been set up to meet the needs of Nottingham's disabled people, carers and older people, in a fast, flexible and local way. ?

Disability Support prides itself on being able to continue to make a difference to disabled people, older people and carers residing in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

We promote positive change in a non-political and non-campaigning way. As an organisation, we have a strong sense of commitment to empowering people to make their own choices and make positive decisions about independent living opportunities.

We are a small and friendly team who provide advice, information or support.

- Accessible Transport,

- Activities/Social Groups,

- Personal Budgets,

- Equality Act/Discrimination,

- Finding Grants,

- Equipment,

- Employment & Adjustments,

- Peer Support,

- Loneliness & isolation,

- Training.

Opening times

9am - 5 pm Monday - Thursday, 9am - 4.30 pm Friday, closed at weekends

Access

The Disability Support offices are on the ground floor and are wheelchair accessible.

Target group

Disability Support provides free services to disabled people, older people and carers within the Nottingham City area. We also assist organisations which support the same client groups.

Referral method

Disability Support welcomes self-referrers.
