About
East Sussex Hearing helps the deaf and hard-of-hearing community in East Sussex achieve independence, equality, and enhance their communication techniques. It offers communication support for hard of hearing people and gives information and advice for problems with all aspects of hearing loss in everyday life.
East Sussex Hearing provide information and demonstration of up-to-date assistive devices to deaf, deafened, deafblind and hard-of-hearing clients throughout East Sussex. Other services provided include lip-reading classes, sign language classes, hard of hearing groups, Ménière’s group, deafblind groups and hearing aid batteries and basic hearing aid maintenance sessions.
Opening times
Tuesday and Wednesday 10am – 12:30pm and 1:30pm - 3.30pm (resource centre drop-in sessions) Appointments available on request on other days.
