About
A parent-led registered charity committed to helping improve the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged children with disabilities/special needs (aged 0 - 25) across Essex, and their families.
We offer a unique service providing holistic independent support to any family who has a child/children with any disability/special need, requiring advice, information and support, particularly at times of change, challenge and crisis. We also aim to empower parents/carers to receive appropriate support for their child and address obstacles to achieving this.
Opening times
Monday to Friday 10am - 4pm
Access
Our premises are shared and we do have access to meetings rooms with disabled access (including ramp to entrance, adapted toilet, disabled parking).

Essex (except Thurrock and Southend)

Families/ parents/ carers with at least one child (aged 0-25 years) with a special need and/ or disability

Our Services :• Helpline• Family Adviser SupportFamily Support Adviser or key worker one to one support (via telephone helpline, home visits, accompanying to meetings) • Providing parents with relevant information and support around a vast array of issues including specialist advice, information and support on Special Education Needs (school admission and choice, integration, transition, bullying, exclusions or threat of exclusions and statementing. • Help with benefits and grants• Saturday Activity Club• Siblings Support Group• Respite Opportunities• Family Activities – social events, workshops

Self referrals and professional referrals via telephone, e-mail and post.
