About

Support group for those who have had bladder / bowel surgery who now require a pouch.

Patients and their families may find difficulty in coping physically and emotionally with this change in body image. This support group was set up by a group of Ostomists and the Stoma nursing Team at Pilgrim Hospital, to allow Ostomists and their families to meet and chat openly with other Ostomists on an informal basis so they don’t feel isolated and can talk openly.
