About

Full of Life is a charity that supports and provides services to parent carers and their disabled children/adults. We give free practical independent advice to parent carers through our direct services.

This consists of parent forums, advocacy for children and adult services and a parent partnership service which deals with anything to do with special educational needs. Full of Life also runs a centre for young adults with complex needs, with a focus on communication and personal development, new experiences and learning new skills.

Mondays to Fridays 10am - 4pm.

A Carer's Advocacy service supports parents and carers of adults with learning disabilities. It ensures continuity of support for families when the person they care for transfers from children's to adult services. The service provides independent practical support, advice and information on the following: • Benefits and Form Filling. • Issues in relation to Housing, Social Services, Carers Assessments. • Support attending meetings/reviews. • Support with complaints. • Liaising with services and professionals to access the best support for families.
