About
To provide high quality services which are appropriate to the needs and wishes of Deaf and Hard of Hearing people and their families living in Gloucestershire.
To assist Deaf and Hard of Hearing people in gaining equal access to information and services. To promote a greater understanding of the needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing people and their families. To encourage a greater participation of users in the services which are provided.
To work with other organisations, both statutory and voluntary to ensure that good relationships are established and that resources are used in the most effective way to meet the needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing people and their families.

People on waiting list advised to attend our monthly coffee mornings until space becomes available.Gloucestershire Deaf Social ClubSaturday evenings at the Gloucestershire Deaf Community Centre. Open to BSL users of all ages as a regular event to relax and socialise. Licensed bar. Monthly bingo.Gloucestershire Deaf Kids Zone / Deaf Youth Zone For deaf and hard-of-hearing tots and younger children 0-8 years with an accompanying parent or carer. A safe, secure and total communication environment, using English and BSL. Creative, music and garden activities. Annual Halloween and Christmas parties. A chance too for parents to socialise, share tips and ask advice. For young people 8 years and above who are deaf or have any level of hearing impairment. Meets alternate Friday evenings 7pm-9pm. A safe, secure and total communication environment, using English and BSL. Sports, music and creative activities, as well as regular trips out, and relaxing chill-out evenings too.
