About

The Society's aim is to enhance the quality of life for blind and partially sighted people whatever their age and personal circumstances.

The Society is an independent, local charity and has no constitutional connections with any other national or regional charity for the blind.

They work with Social Services, Royal National Institute of Blind People and Guide Dogs for the Blind Association and other organisations for blind and partially sighted people, but are independent from them.
