About

Manchester Deaf Centre is the largest organisation in Greater Manchester providing support to a wide range of people with sensory impairment. The centre is a popular place for D/deaf, deaf-blind and hard of hearing people to meet and socialise. Our information and Communication Service enables Deaf and hearing people to communicate in a wide variety of settings.

Opening times

Monday - Friday 09:00am - 5:00pm

Access

Parking at ground level (pay on entry). Loop system, British Sign Language Stages 1 and 2, lip speakers. Equipment and aids service in conjunction with the City Council. Adapted toilet and wheelchair access.

Target group

Deaf people living in Manchester who want to directly access Sign Language Interpreters or communicators for their day-to-day living demands. The Deaf Centre can arrange a British Sign Language Interpreter to support Deaf people in many situations.

Further information

Manchester Deaf Centre also run British Sign Language Classes, Deaf Awareness Courses, Sensory Provision, and a Linkworker Service.
