About

Oswestry Community Action run six fully accessible mini-buses and six community cars. We work in the voluntary sector providing community transport for the disabled, the sick, the elderly and the rurally isolated. Anyone with a genuine transport need who does not have access to public transport can join our transport scheme and use our service.

We have 30 volunteer drivers and passenger escorts who give up their time to help run this service. All our volunteer drivers are fully trained to the MiDAS standard and are CRB checked.

Opening times

Our Dial-A-Ride service runs from Monday to Friday 10am to 3pm and we also offer a trip service which can run at weekends.

Access

Oswestry Dial-a-ride run a door- to-door to bus service with six accessible mini-buses.

Catchment area

We cover Oswestry and its surrounding borderlands with our Dial-a-Ride service but can cover a much larger area with our car scheme.

The disabled, the sick, the elderly and the rurally isolated.
