Update to Services, from April 2020, CGL (Change, Live Grow) stopped being the provider for Drug and Alcohol services in Richmond. The current provider is Richmond Community Drug and Alcohol Service (known as RCDAS).

The service is a consortium of providers and is led by South London and the Maudsley Mental Health Foundation Trust. We Are With You (formerly 'Addaction'), St Mungo's and CDARS make up the rest of the service. RCDAS are still able to assess new clients but again, this will be by telephone in the first instance as far as possible. 'Walk in' clients will be asked to provide a telephone number and will be called back at an agreed time.

Onsite RCDAS will be prioritising three essential elements of treatment:

- Opiate substitution therapy (methadone and buprenorphine prescribing)

- Needle exchange

- Treatment of alcohol and GBL dependence

New assessments will be offered via telephone.
