About

Richmond Fellowship is a national mental health charity. We’ve been working with individuals, families and communities to make recovery reality for over 60 years.

More importantly, our services work hand-in-hand with people we support to give them the confidence and self belief that they have an important contribution to make in society.

By working closely with the people we support, we’ve developed a range of services that can make a positive difference to their lives.

Since 1959, we’ve provided support to thousands of people across the country to help them manage the day to day impacts of living with mental ill health.

We offer a range of services across England including supported housing, community, crisis houses, residential homes, employment support and social enterprises.

Further information

Winston House offers intensive short to medium term psychiatric rehabilitation placements for 25 service users aged over 18. We work with people who have severe and enduring mental health conditions with complex risk and forensic histories. We have a three phase rehabilitation programme which allows us to work in a person centred way with individuals, recognising areas of existing strength and areas of need. We help people to develop the skills that they need to be able to live independently. Thorough risk management plans enable us to get to know people really well, so that we can recognise when somebody is becoming unwell and take preventative measures to avoid relapse. We work closely with multi disciplinary teams to support individuals. We support people to learn how to manage their own mental health and well being and help them to gain meaningful activity, education and training and build up support networks locally. We offer: - A safe environment free from alcohol and drugs- Named keyworker and co-worker- Individual service user plan and rehabilitation goals- Regular reviews to monitor progress- Daily support from trained staff including two sleep-in staff overnight- Management of medication- Support to gain meaningful activity such as education, training and employment- Support with benefits and budgeting skills.
