Service details
The Specialist Stop Smoking Service is part of Salford City Council's Health Improvement Service. We've been supporting people in Salford to quit smoking for over 16 years with a high success rate.
You’re three times more likely to quit with our specialist support! It can be done - 61% of people who have ever smoked in Great Britain have quit and are now ex-smokers.
You'll be supported for up to 12 weeks by one of our friendly Stop Smoking Advisors. We'll help you to identify your daily smoking habits, offer practical advice on managing cravings, and develop your personalised quit plan to help you quit smoking for good.
We provide free access to nicotine replacement therapy, such as patches, chewing gums, mouth sprays, and more. We also offer medications to help people quit smoking (like bupropion/Zyban), as well as vaping devices (e-cigarette).
