SH24 is a free confidential STI online testing service for Bromley residents who are aged 24 and under. The test is for chlamydia and gonorrhoea and is the same sensitive, accurate test as those offered in NHS clinics.
By following the simple instructional videos available on the website, samples can be taken in the privacy of the individual’s own home and posted to the testing laboratory in the free packaging provided. Results are sent by text message from the testing laboratory and the Bromley Sexual Health Office within a few days.
Bromley residents will be advised to attend Beckenham Beacon Sexual Health Clinic for treatment if the gonorrhoea result is positive, however, chlamydia treatment can be issued from a number of pharmacies and contraception clinics.
