About

SAtA is a charity providing independent advocacy support predominantly (but not exclusively) for people with learning disabilities, autism, dementia and mental health challenges. We provide all statutory and non-statutory advocacy support across Solihull including:

- Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA)

- Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) and RPR

- Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA)

- Advocacy under the Care Act

- NHS complaints advocacy

- Generic non-statutory advocacy

- Child protection advocacy (for parents with a learning disability)

- Advocacy for young people with LD/Autism

We also help people develop to self-advocacy skills and support peer advocates in campaigning for change.

Our work enables people to have more control over their lives and to make the changes that they wish to.
