About PALS

The Patient Advice and Liaison Service, known as PALS, has been introduced to ensure that the NHS listens to patients, their relatives, carers and friends, and answers their questions and resolves their concerns as quickly as possible.

PALS also helps the NHS to improve services by listening to what matters to patients and their loved ones and making changes, when appropriate.

Information Southmead Hopsital is run by North Bristol NHS Trust. The PALS service can be contacted on 0117 414 4569 or by emailing pals@nbt.nhs.uk. You can also complete an online form nbt.nhs.uk/patients-carers/feedback/advice-complaints/raise-a-concerncomplaint Alternatively you can visit the PALS office and speak to a member of the team in person. The PALS office is located on the main atrium of the Brunel Building.
