About

Tameside Carers Centre provides a free and confidential service for people looking after relatives or friends of any age, who are ill, disabled or frail. The Centre is part of Tameside Adult Services, and we offer a range of services to support unpaid Carers, regardless of whether they are receiving benefits or other help from the authority.

These services include information, advice, advocacy and support (either providing a listening ear if needed, or running support groups throughout Tameside) regular newsletters, free trips and activities, non means-tested grants towards the cost of short breaks and meetings which provide guest speakers and a chance to meet other Carers.
