Services offered
Sexual assault referral centres offer medical, practical and emotional support to anyone who has been sexually assaulted or raped. They have specially trained pediatrician / Forensic Nurse Examiners (FNE) and support workers to care for you.

Service details
The Bridge is a Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC). We offer medical care, emotional and psychological support, and practical help to anyone who has been raped or sexually assaulted.
If you live in the Avon & Somerset area, our specialist team is here for you. We also offer information to friends and family if someone you care about has been affected by sexual assault.
We also provide Paediatric medical examinations for children living in Avon & Somerset, Swindon/Wiltshire and Gloucestershire, we also offer aftercare support & referring onto the relevant services within there locality.
It doesn’t matter when you were assaulted, where it happened or who did it – we’ll listen to your experience and help you to get the support you choose.
