About

The Elizabeth Foundation is a registered charity and is the UK’s largest single provider of education services for babies and preschool children with hearing loss. Alongside our ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted nursery provision we offer a range of services in person and online with the aim of helping deaf young children with hearing loss learn to listen and talk.

Catchment area

UK wide with a purpose-built Family Centre for preschool education and services in Hampshire alongside an online ‘Lets Listen and Talk’ programme for those unable to attend the Family Centre in person

Target group

Parents and families with a deaf baby or child aged from birth to five years who could benefit from our services

Alongside specialist preschool nursery provision, the Elizabeth Foundation offers a range of services including:- Monthly communication groups for children with unilateral hearing loss, Downs syndrome and additional complex needs;  - Music therapy sessions to help deaf children develop their listening skills;  - 1:1 speech and language therapy, bespoke language development for every child- Monthly Parent Education classes focussing on topics such as building friendships.
