About

The Hinge Centre provides support, guidance, services and opportunities to those facing social and financial deprivation. We are committed to ensuring support is available to some of the most vulnerable members of our society of the services & sessions we facilitate from the centre include: Job club & employability development, Independent Living skills for young adults, benefit & welfare support, Arts & Crafts sessions for the vulnerable and isolated, daily after school clubs for children, 1-1 and group personal development sessions (on topics such as budgeting, anger management), advocacy work, independent living skills for adults with learning disabilities and homeless support including resettlement. We also offer food provisions for individuals and families in the local community, many of which are facing financial hardship for various reasons.

No Second Night Out - Emergency Contact LineAs part of their Nightstop Project to support homeless young people aged 16-24 Hinge have launched an emergency contact number for any member of the general public to use within the East Riding of Yorkshire if they SEE or THINK someone is homeless. A message can be left at any time 24/7 reporting the location and time and this will be followed up by a member of the team at the Hinge Centre. The number to use is 07512 887959
